Here Is How To Use The Workout Time Calculator

When you plan out your lower ab exercise daily regimen, you can get the most out of your workout plan and your workout time.
Doing the same routine every day is, well, routine.
It’s much more engaging to body and mind to have some variations each day.
By this I mean more than adding reps. This is more about alternating exercises by order and by rep count. About phasing exercises in and out and “Muscle Confusion” (The basic concept of P90x) with many variations. To keep track of this on a daily and monthly basis you must organize your schedule and stick to it.
You also want to know how much time it will take to do all those reps when they each use different amounts of time. Also you can find out how many exercises and reps you can do in a time frame that you can decide on.

Make A Lower Ab Exercise Progress Chart For Each Month

You can use the 4 minute workout from the Tighten Up Train program to ramp up from no exercises. Or you can modify the number of reps on each day of each exercise to match another program. Also, you may want to create your own ab exercise program. This chart is also useful for recording how many reps you are doing to track your progress. Don’t get ahead of yourself and don’t lag behind. All the reps can be done in one session or spread throughout the day.

Using The Workout Time Calculator

Know in advance how much time you will spend accomplishing all the exercise reps. The numbers in the white background are your time calculation results in minutes. You change the number of reps and your calculated result show up in the Time Column. Next you match up the reps per exercise column to get the total reps and workout time for each day.
Plan your workout to fit the time you want to dedicate to your daily exercise routine.

Enter your desired time, in minutes, into the blue box under the Time Column. Simply replace the zero to enter in your time amount. Leave as zero when not being used to calculate your workout time. Then print the chart and cross off each daily exercise in a row as they are accomplished. If you don’t finish all the reps for an exercise, you can write the number done and it will remind you to come back. Then you can remember to finish the remaining reps.

Changing The Rep Times For Individual Exercises

At the bottom of the spreadsheet are 2 tabs. One for the Lower Ab Exercises Progress Chart, the another one where you can set a custom Exercise Rep Time. Simply type in the duration per rep of any exercise you want to change. However, if you make the time so short that you rush through the exercise, you don’t get the full burn and benefits.

What Do I Do With The Variant Columns?

As you advance in doing your basic ab exercises, you can add up to 2 extra or replacement exercises in these yellow columns. More abdominal exercises are on the Exercise Rep Time tab.
Variant one equals and Variant two equals, are the two yellow columns on the Progress Chart. The reps are designed for a good phase in, so don’t change those rep numbers unless you are advanced in lower ab exercises. What you are supposed to do is copy the title to the Variant Equals cell and enter the rep time in the next cell. If not using the variant column, leave the zeros there. When you change them and go back to the Progress Chart, you’ll see the rep times for the Variants added to your total daily reps and daily exercise time.
